Did you capture the Northern Lights over the weekend? ✨ Spectacular displays were spotted across the UK, northern US, Canada, Ireland and Northern Europe as a G5 geomagnetic storm - the highest level on the space weather scale - occurred. The frequency of sunspots is expected to increase as the Sun’s 11-year activity cycle reaches a peak at some point in 2024 or 2025. Share your skylines by entering the Standard Chartered Photographer of the Year competition via www.zealous.co/rmets, and be in with the chance of winning up to £5,000.
